Desired Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapy (OT) license via LARA
- MDE (Michigan Department of Education) Educator Certification
- Experience in school-based OT services preferred
- Ability to manage K-12 caseload effectively (all mild-moderate needs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Committed to onsite work—remote or hybrid options are not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver OT interventions for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
- Adapt approaches to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
- Serve as a resource for staff on occupational therapy interventions
