Key Qualifications:
- Current active Occupational Therapist license for Florida
- Prior experience working in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educational staff and families
- Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in academic and daily living activities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a defined caseload in compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
- Assess students’ motor needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote optimal student outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding adaptive strategies or interventions
