Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license in Florida
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for students
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptable and organized, with a commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ OT needs
- Develop and execute evidence-based intervention plans to support IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across a variety of ages and needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as a resource for teachers and school teams on best practices and accommodations
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
