Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a skilled Occupational Therapist this fall. This short-term assignment offers an engaging caseload of 40 students, providing essential services while covering a leave through early December. You'll play an important role in helping students achieve greater independence and success during the school day.
This assignment runs from September 3, 2026, through December 1, 2026, with a commitment of 7 hours per week across 5 days. Located near scenic Everett, WA, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team and make a tangible difference for students spanning kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Washington Department of Health Occupational Therapist License
- Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate – School Occupational Therapist (must already have or be eligible for DOH license to obtain this)
- Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and individualized education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 K-12 students
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to OT
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Cover a variety of student needs while adapting to different grade levels
