Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and therapy planning for students
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Deliver occupational therapy services individually or in groups in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and modify intervention plans and therapeutic activities
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommendations
- Support safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments
