Occupational Therapist School Setting in Everson, WA

Your expertise as either an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will be vital in addressing students' needs and fostering independence in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to support diverse learning and developmental needs
- Passion for empowering children and adolescents to achieve their highest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services to a K-12 caseload, working with students ages 5-19
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the education team
- Support students’ participation in classroom and daily school activities by recommending and facilitating modifications or adaptive tools
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ success
- Deliver direct and consultative services as needed
