Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license and credentials for school practice
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and state education requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments to identify students’ therapy needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support academic and developmental growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and document progress toward goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other specialists to integrate therapy within classroom environments
- Provide education and strategies for staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered and student outcomes
