- Valid OT license and certification appropriate for school settings
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in schools preferred
- Solid understanding of IEPs and documentation requirements
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Implement therapeutic activities tailored to student goals and educational objectives
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Attend IEP meetings, provide input for team-based student support, and document progress
- Educate school staff and families on best practices related to sensory processing, self-regulation, and fine motor skills
- Comply with all district and legal requirements for recordkeeping and reporting
