School Occupational Therapist - Gaithersburg, Maryland

This contract opportunity is designed for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist who is committed to helping every child reach their fullest potential. From August 18, 2025 through May 28, 2026, you will provide crucial support to learners across kindergarten through twelfth grade, working with a caseload of 25 students with a range of disabilities.
As part of a team that values dedication and believes in the capabilities of all students, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to help shape meaningful educational experiences. Your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist will empower you to connect with students, address communication needs, and encourage lasting personal development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Maryland SLP license required
- Experience supporting K–12 students with varied disabilities
- Strong clinical background in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and adapting approaches for each unique student
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for a caseload of 25 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights to inform educational planning
