Key Qualifications:
- Possession of current Texas Occupational Therapist Certification
- Experience working with K–12 students in school settings preferred
- Solid knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility and commitment to providing high-quality therapy services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students requiring occupational therapy
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and service documentation
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise to support student needs
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet individual and group needs throughout the school year
- Provide ongoing support and education to staff and families as needed
