Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Occupational Therapist Certification required
- Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and writing/implementing IEPs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs through evaluations and ongoing observation
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy interventions
- Adapt sensory, motor, and functional activities to support student participation
- Maintain professional and timely communication with educational teams and families
- Ensure compliance with legal and school-based documentation requirements
- Serve a diverse caseload of K-12 students, tailoring interventions as appropriate
