Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Washington State ESA and OT license
- School-based experience (preferred), though all strong clinical OT backgrounds will be considered
- Completion of fingerprinting process through OSPI by assignment start date
- Ability to adapt interventions to a variety of age groups and developmental needs
- Commitment to in-person service delivery—remote opportunities are not available for this role
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students with varied abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Educate and empower families and staff on strategies that support student access and success in the classroom
- Participate in professional development and school activities, contributing positively to a collaborative school environment
