Key Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in a school setting or with children and adolescents preferred
- Strong understanding of strategies for supporting students with Autism
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Use evidence-based interventions to promote participation in daily activities
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and document services provided
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support each child’s goals
- Provide insights for IEP meetings and help train school staff on accommodations or equipment
- Support a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where every student’s growth is nurtured
