Looking to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while using your expertise in school-based occupational therapy? This is a fantastic full-time contract opportunity to work onsite with PreK-8th graders, fostering their growth and independence throughout the academic year.
You’ll have the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and support staff, contributing your skills to help students meet their educational and developmental goals. The assignment is set to begin August 3, 2026, running through May 26, 2027, with a caseload that will be determined prior to the start date.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Hold a current, active Arizona OT License
- Possess an IVP Fingerprint Card (must be valid and up-to-date)
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with children in a school environment
- Committed to onsite service delivery (remote/voco not available)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ participation in educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state policies
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
