Key Qualifications:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience within school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine motor development, and individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills
What You'll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a diverse student population (Birth – 12th grade)
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and contribute to IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, adapting interventions as necessary for classroom or home environments
- Coach and collaborate with educators and family members to ensure the most supportive learning environments for each student
- Travel between school sites within the county as needed to deliver therapy services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatments, and student progress
