School Occupational Therapist - Williams, California

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist who will work with students from birth through 12th grade, providing services across the county. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning from early intervention to high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and implement evidence-based interventions for students aged birth-12th grade
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services to support students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and access to academics
- Document progress and maintain records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to maximize student growth and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and evaluations as needed
- Travel throughout the county as required to deliver services at various school sites
This contract role is scheduled for 8 hours per day, with an estimated 37.5 hours per week, offering consistency and the rewarding experience of supporting students at multiple stages in their educational journey.
