Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in school-based practice
- Demonstrated skill in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring for students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Please note: Candidates must be licensed OTs; COTAs will not be considered due to supervision requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite to students, focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and monitor progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create supportive classroom strategies and accommodations
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Stay current with best practices in school-based OT and professional development
This position offers a consistent 32.5-hour weekly schedule throughout the academic calendar, with the assignment running from the start date through June 18, 2027.
