Professionally, you’ll work full-time, providing critical services across a caseload of approximately 30 students in 3-4 dynamic educational settings. This exposure enables you to sharpen your skills, adopt new best practices, and enhance your resume with valuable experience in multiple modalities—including on-campus, home health, healthcare facility, and teletherapy occupational therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in Illinois
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with home health, healthcare, and teletherapy OT practices
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for approximately 30 students across 3-4 schools
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to design and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Promote student participation, independence, and well-being
