Occupational Therapist School Setting - Hope, IN

Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid in Indiana
- Knowledge and experience in school-based OT practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Capability to assess, plan, and implement appropriate therapy programs for students with a diverse range of needs
- Efficient documentation and progress reporting skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments to guide the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment, focusing on improved participation and independence
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive strategies for students
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining clear and timely records
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and caregivers regarding best OT practices
