Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working with K–12 students in a school environment preferred
- Skilled in assessments, development of individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and parents
- Compassion, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across different grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support each student’s success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals with educational programs
- Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and maintain accurate records
- Educate school staff and families on strategies that support students in classroom and daily activities
