School Occupational Therapist | Hyattsville, Maryland

You'll join an innovative, student-focused atmosphere, providing services to a caseload of 25 students with a mixture of disabilities, contributing meaningfully to their growth and success from August 18, 2025, through May 28, 2026.
Ideal candidates demonstrate experience and adaptability in school-based, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare settings. This role values creativity and collaboration, allowing you to share your expertise with fellow professionals and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Maryland SLP license (required)
- Solid background in delivering speech and language therapy for students across K-12
- Flexibility in service delivery: in-person, teletherapy, and collaborative support
- Prior experience managing caseloads with varied disabilities is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions both individually and in group settings
- Develop and maintain thorough IEPs in compliance with state and federal standards
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Document progress, adjust intervention strategies, and participate in team meetings
