Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
- Prior experience working in school settings or with school-aged children
- Ability to provide OT services in both school and home environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Comfort with a flexible, very part-time schedule
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that address academic and functional goals
- Deliver occupation-based therapy services on-site at the school and in students’ homes
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to maximize students’ progress
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of each session and communicate regularly with the broader educational team
