Occupational Therapist School Setting in Joliet, IL

As a valued occupational therapist in this setting, you will:
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, evaluation procedures, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support student success
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student participation and achievement
- Document services provided, track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Support the creation of accessible, inclusive classroom environments
