What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Washington State OT License (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA certification with occupational therapy endorsement (fully licensed)
- Prior experience working in a school-based OT setting is strongly preferred
- Comfort and adaptability in supporting students of all ages (elementary through high school) and varying needs
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering individualized and group occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ IEPs
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to foster student success
- Promoting student independence in the school environment by supporting fine motor skills, adaptive behavior, and sensory needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable input regarding student performance and strategies
