Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy to a variety of student needs and grade levels
- Commitment to maintaining timely documentation and adhering to IEP requirements
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services across five elementary campuses
- Conducting assessments to determine student needs and progress
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies supporting educational goals
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Participating in eligibility, IEP, and planning meetings as required
- Providing consultative support and training to staff as needed
- Maintaining records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
