Schedule/Hours:
- 4 x 10-hour shifts each week
- Includes 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
- Flexibility available on shift assignments
- Floating between facilities as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to float among multiple hospital sites
- Strong assessment, planning, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to upholding therapy best practices and hospital policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions focused on restoring functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and progress
- Accurately maintain clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adapt to multiple hospital units and work environments as patient needs require
