Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
- Includes 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
- Flexibility on shifts can be accommodated
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
- Experience in hospital-based therapy; recent acute care preferred
- Confident working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to float between multiple facilities as required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families to ensure optimal recovery and promote independence
- Document patient progress according to hospital and regulatory standards
- Adapt quickly to different hospital departments and patient care needs
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to all safety protocols
