Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts per week
- Includes 2 weekday and 2 weekend shifts
- Flexibility on shift times if needed
- Float between locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Proven experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to float between various hospital facilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and adaptive strategies
