Desired Qualifications:
- Current Washington State OT License issued by the Dept. of Health
- Washington State OSPI ESA license with Occupational Therapy endorsement (must be fully licensed)
- Demonstrated experience or strong commitment to working in school-based settings
- Confidence supporting students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with teachers, families, and support staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to support learners across diverse grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, supporting access to their educational programs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams for IEP development and progress reporting
- Adapt interventions and materials to align with student needs and educational goals
- Engage with families and educators to share strategies for classroom and home success
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
