- Understanding of IEPs and special education procedures
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students as identified in their IEPs
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support student participation and achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and evaluation records
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and in-service trainings
- Provide recommendations for adaptations, sensory supports, and classroom strategies
