Occupational Therapist School Setting - Laurel, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Experience serving K-12 students, including those with a variety of disabilities
- Familiarity with a range of service delivery models, including teletherapy, home health, and school-based settings
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 25 students with mixed disabilities
- Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Maintain comprehensive records and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student progress and engagement
- Utilize effective intervention strategies in both in-person and virtual formats, as needed
