Step into a pivotal role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time contract positions are available, focusing on schools in the southern end of the county. Collaborate with educators and families to promote student success from August 10th, 2026, to June 17th, 2027. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact within school-based settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and design interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Guide and educate staff and caregivers regarding occupational therapy strategies
