What you’ll do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to diverse students in both in-person and teletherapy formats
- Deliver therapy across multiple school sites (itinerant position) with paid travel between locations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with an experienced team
- Utilize the district’s IEP system with comprehensive training provided to support a smooth transition
- Participate in paid team meetings and indirect/admin hours to ensure quality service and collaboration
- Contribute to a caseload structure, benefiting from dedicated space for therapy at each site
- Work with a responsive district that offers guidance and resources throughout your placement
What’s needed:
- Active OT licensure in Illinois
- Prior experience in schools, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy occupational therapy settings
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, planning, and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with educators, families, and team members
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools within the district
