Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid OT licensure in Illinois
- Strong background in school-based settings; experience in healthcare, home health, or teletherapy a plus
- Familiarity with IEP systems; training provided upon onboarding
- Ability to adapt to both caseload and workload models according to district practice
- Skilled at multitasking between direct therapy and indirect/admin time
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams, families, and administration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across various schools as assigned
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide services in dedicated therapy spaces
- Utilize designated IEP system (with training as part of onboarding)
- Attend and contribute to paid team meetings and admin tasks
- Maintain documentation and compliance with school and district requirements
