What we’re seeking:
- Active OT licensure in Illinois
- Experience in K-12 settings, with skills in school-based, home health, and teletherapy environments
- Familiarity with IEP systems; district-specific training provided as needed
- Capacity to adapt to varying school assignments and caseloads
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, supporting students, families, and school staff
- Previous experience with Medicaid billing and compliance is a plus
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to student IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and team meetings (administrative and indirect hours are supported)
- Travel between schools as assigned within the district (paid travel)
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development and district-provided trainings
- Utilize designated IEP software with district training provided, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
