Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in school-based OT, including conducting assessments
- Ability to provide effective supervision and mentorship to COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants)
- Strong communication skills and professionalism working with students, staff, and families
- Organized and self-motivated; able to manage monthly consultative role efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete monthly on-site visits, totaling 8 hours per month
- Conduct thorough OT evaluations and prepare clear, actionable reports
- Supervise and support the district’s COTA, who provides weekly services
- Attend to required documentation and collaborate with educational teams as needed
- Participate in meetings when required, offering guidance on student progress and intervention strategies
