Desired qualifications:
- Active OT license and certification
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy a plus
- Skill in designing individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged children
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and strengths to develop targeted OT interventions
- Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions, adapting activities for diverse learners
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support carryover of skills in the classroom
- Complete required documentation and progress reporting in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and success
This full-time position begins ASAP and will run for a 3-month contract term, working 5 days each week alongside dedicated educational professionals.
