Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Arizona
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
- Comfort working with K–12 age groups, including diverse developmental and learning needs
- Ability to travel between two school locations as needed
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with self-contained classroom environments is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an OT
- Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the individualized needs of students
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success
- Maintain a positive, flexible, and inclusive approach in all interactions
