Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Washington Occupational Therapist license
- Washington Teaching Certificate (or willingness to obtain, if required)
- Experience delivering occupational therapy in school settings, working with elementary-aged children
- Solid understanding of IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Positive communicator who’s adaptable and excited to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and administer occupational therapy services for a caseload of about 40 PreK–5th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ specific educational and developmental needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insight on goals, accommodations, and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation to ensure compliance and progress tracking
