Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapy License is required
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP required; not Level 1)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred, including familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary teams
- Capability to work independently and travel between various local school locations
- Strong communication skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to support students across a range of needs and grade levels (K-8)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
- Engage in treatment planning, implementation, and documentation for a diverse student caseload
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Adapt therapy strategies for classroom and home environments
