Key Qualifications:
- Experience providing occupational therapy services to early childhood and school-aged populations.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon.
- Ability to develop meaningful educational goals, create recommendations, and track progress through data collection.
- Comfortable providing services in diverse locations: family homes, childcare centers, in-home childcare, and clinic settings.
- Capable of conducting up to three evaluations during a dedicated evaluation day each week.
- Experience or willingness to bill Medicaid is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to support families, caregivers, and colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to children and their parents, with a focus on individualized needs and development.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, typically up to three students in a day, within homes or other preferred settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to write and implement educational goals.
- Provide in-home and community-based support, including occasional services in EI clinic buildings per family requests.
- Collect and interpret data to monitor each child’s progress.
- No case management or service coordination duties are required, allowing for true clinical focus.
