Occupational Therapist School Setting in Roseburg, OR

Split your expertise between two vibrant teams—Early Intervention (EI) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) birth to three—delivering hands-on support tailored to the unique needs of each child.
Your days will be rich with variety, offering both independence and collaboration. With the EI team, you’ll conduct evaluations one day per week, typically assessing up to three students throughout the day. Direct services will be provided to children and parents, mostly in home environments, but also within community childcare facilities or in-clinic settings, as families request. For the ECSE team, you’ll serve children from birth to age three, contributing to developmental progress in their most foundational years.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials for school-based practice
- Experience in early intervention or early childhood special education highly preferred
- Comfortable providing services in diverse environments, including homes, community childcare, and clinics
- Skilled in conducting developmental evaluations and designing educational goals
- Proficiency with documentation, data collection, and goal tracking
- Ability to develop practical, family-centered recommendations
- Medicaid billing competency (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to children and families in a variety of settings
- Conduct developmental evaluations, track progress, and adjust goals as needed
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop clear, achievable educational goals
- Document services and maintain accurate data to support educational planning
