Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and goal setting for students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other support staff
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical judgment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ educational and developmental growth
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and documentation
- Educate school staff and families on adaptive strategies to enhance learning environments
- Support students in both group and one-on-one settings, adapting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
