Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state
- Recent or previous experience providing OT services within a school setting
- Solid understanding of pediatric diagnoses and interventions as they relate to educational performance
- Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy plans based on IEP goals and changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students requiring OT services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP objectives
- Work directly with students to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, organization, and self-care abilities
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with regulations and school policies
- Provide guidance and resources to educational staff and parents for classroom adaptations and carryover of strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development when needed
- Offer flexible support as a PRN clinician, available for coverage and additional needs as they arise
