Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing an elementary-aged caseload
- Strong communication and collaborative skills when working with teachers, staff, and families
- Organized, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support to elementary students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and document progress, actively participating in IEP meetings when needed
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for students’ success
- Guide and educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ occupational therapy needs
- Maintain clear and accurate records in accordance with school policies
