Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred
- Familiarity with evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP processes
- Comfortable working itinerantly across multiple K-12 schools
- Commitment to compliance with fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
- Willingness to participate in virtual interviews
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and direct therapeutic services to K-12 students
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings ensuring the best individualized supports
- Manage an itinerant caseload across assigned schools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including paraprofessionals and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough documentation for all student interactions and progress
