A part-time opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist interested in working within a supportive educational environment serving PreK through 8th grade students. Key Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy (OT) license, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
- Experience in school environments, with additional expertise in home health or healthcare OT valued.
- Ability to provide occupational therapy services to students ranging from PreK to 8th grade.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to delivering therapy in person.
Role Overview:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student success.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and therapy goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide direct services and consultative support within the school setting.
Position Details:
- Contract position, part-time schedule.
- Service dates align with the academic year, beginning with prep on August 1; student sessions from August 10 through May 31, 2027.
- In-person work only at this time.
