Occupational Therapist School Setting in Washoe Valley, NV

Your expertise will be key in evaluating student needs, creating treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families. Choose from a range of caseloads that span kindergarten through high school, ensuring your work consistently engages and challenges you. This role offers a full-time schedule, with 35-40 hours across five days each week.
Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with pediatric and/or K-12 populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop customized treatment plans and document progress
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students individually and in groups, adapting interventions to various ages and learning styles
- Assess student abilities and develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide training, resources, and support for teachers and parents to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring and assessment meetings
