Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Nevada Occupational Therapy license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT
- Able to manage a caseload of 50-55 students (elementary and secondary mix)
- Skilled in conducting a range of assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions
- Comfortable working in an itinerant capacity and providing services district-wide
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for IEP teams and interdisciplinary staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted OT interventions, assessments, and formal evaluations for students
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs), documenting progress and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to maximize student outcomes
- Engage in team meetings, and utilize indirect/admin time as provided
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed (paid travel included)
- Participate in ongoing district and team-based training for professional growth
