Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional and developmental needs within the school environment
- Develop and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom materials and activities
- Engage with families to communicate student progress and strategies for success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, plan of care, and progress notes
